I had gone through some stuff, we all have... Am I right?

But, like many other moms, I had buried all that stuff deep inside because I was busy going through the motions. I was a robot on auto-pilot... Surviving my way through motherhood instead of actually enjoying it! 

After experiencing the benefits of EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) Tapping for myself, I became inspired to share this powerful tool with other moms so that THEY can feel calmer and more in control as well.
I then teach them how to introduce it to their children...Empowering KIDS with a tool they can use for whenever they experience stress!

My personal experience is what led me to EFT, but my professional experience has really created a foundation for me to be effective when working with families.

  • I have earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in school counseling.

  • I've worked as a school counselor, in dual language and special needs programs in kindergarten through high school classrooms, and have coached basketball and softball at the high school level.

  • I have also been trained through all three major EFT organizations (EFT Universe, ACEP, and EFT International), and am an AAMET Accredited Certified EFT Practitioner.


I firmly believe that “a healer is not someone you go to FOR healing, a healer is someone that triggers within you, your own ability to heal yourself.” I feel blessed to have learned the life changing tool of EFT, and honored to now share this gift with others!

About EFT

EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) is a combination of ancient Chinese medicine and modern day psychology. When certain acupoints on the body's meridian system are stimulated by a person tapping on them with their fingers, the amygdala (the brain’s stress alarm) is turned off. This allows the brain to calm down and think differently, and more positively, about a stressful event!

Your body has pathways of energy running through it. When we encounter something stressful, it creates a blockage of energy similar to what a dam does to a river.

Through focusing on whatever has created that dam (stressful event) and sending signals to our brain to relax and calm itself (through tapping), we are able to release the dam and allow the river (energy) to move freely. 

Here's a different way to conceptualize EFT...

Picture yourself in the kitchen, cooking dinner while scrolling through your phone...

When all of a sudden, you hear the smoke alarm go off...

Oh no, you forgot to set the timer!!!

Smoke begins to fill up your kitchen...

What do you need to do?

That's right, open up all your windows by unlocking them, and get that smoke OUT!

Well, that's EFT in a nutshell...

  • Your body is the kitchen

  • The smoke is stress in your body

  • The smoke alarm is your stress alarm (aka the amygdala in your brain)

  • Windows are like your acupoints and the way you open them is through Tapping on them

One of my favorite sayings is...

"If you listen to your body when it whispers, you won't have to hear it scream!"

Turns out our minds are very much connected to our bodies, which is why it's so important that we learn to listen and take care of BOTH of them.

This is what EFT does. Through Tapping, we are reducing stress on the mind AND the body, which allows our body to relax and for our brain to think more positively about a specific event.
